As a Black lesbian feminist and activist, in the 1970s and ‘80s Lorde participated in the debate on the emancipation of women of colour and the social justice movements in the United States. During her life, she published countless poetry collections and several books. The documentary shows the impact that Audre Lorde had on her environment as an activist, but also as a lecturer.
