ILFU Book Club: Julie Myerson - Nonfiction (Eng)

This year’s ILFU festival will also feature an ILFU Book Club. The English author Julie Myerson will be featured as part of the Exploring Stories series, but she will also stop by for an extra afternoon to discuss her new book Nonfiction with us. You are cordially invited to join the ILFU editorial staff for a chat and an interview on 29 September.

Julie Myerson (1960) is an English author and literature critic. She debuted with her novel Sleepwalking in 1994, and since then she has published another 11 novels and several works of non-fiction. For many years, she also served as the pen behind the anonymous column ‘Living with Teenagers’ for the Guardian, which she based on her own family life. Her latest book Nonfiction was released in 2022: a heart-wrenching story of parental love, authorship and addiction.

Diewertje Mertens will serve as moderator of the Book Club session.
